Bordered by the Mediterranean Sea, Costa Brava means “Wild Coast” or “Rough Coast”, a coastal region of Catalonia in Northern Spain. It has a vast array of cultural heritage and sightseeing. You will be amazed at the spectacular, rugged coast, all the luxury villa with sea views. It’s a tropical paradise of the world, the land of Sun, Sea, and Sand. It stretches from the town of Blanes, 60 km northeast of Barcelona, to the French border. The closest airport to Costa Brava would be Girona – Costa Brava Airport (GRO) which operates both domestic and International, mainly lost cost flights.

There are a number of towns in Villa Costa Brava and to name a few, Empuri brava, a town to explore if you are looking for a luxurious holiday. The town has many luxurious houses which has yachts moored at their doorsteps. It has become a popular tourist resort.It is best explored using an Eco boat as you take a trip down the canals which reminisce you of the ones in Venice.

Family with children can visit places like Roses and Platjad’Aro. Roses have been known for its water park called Aqua Brava Water Park. The park is renovated every year and has new rides to look forward to. It consists of two themed zones, namely the Adrenaline zone and the Children’s zone. Roses are also popular for its Go Karting. Bringing your little ones to the Salata Amusement Park and Minigolf would be like a paradise to them.

Pals on the other hand, would be a perfect escapade from the crowds due to its location, being at the top of a hill above rice fields and known for its Historical site and Natural Park.  If you are into nightlife entertainments, Lloret de Mar or Blanes would be the best picks.

If you are wondering Costa Brava’s climate, it is typically Mediterranean. It has hot, dry summers and moderately cold winters. The annual average temperature ranges between 7 degree celcius, being its lowest and 28 being its highest, particularly  for  the months of July and August. The best time to plan for your holiday in Costa Brava is from June to September during its tourists season, else the place would be all quiet, like a living dead town.
